Tsk tsk tsk…tu ne fais pas comme ça
So, all French people are skilled in the art of using the fork and knife. Well, I’m asian-Canadian - I’ve mastered eating burgers/sandwiches/hot dogs with my hands, using chopsticks and eating pasta with a fork/spoon (trying to keep it classy).
For lunch today, I had a burger. I ate at the end of the table, in my little corner, hoping no one would notice that, yes - I was in fact using my hands. Halfway through my burger, I was caught, wide-eyed (sort of like a deer with headlights shone in their eyes). Then someone tells me that I can’t eat a burger with my hands, I just c-a-n-n-o-t. Well guess what, burgers taste better with finger dirt all over it.
